J. Renee Williams

Pastor J. Renee Williams is a native of Philadelphia, PA. She is the 3rd oldest of 9 children born to the late Pastor James Williams Sr. and late founder, Mother Terry Williams. She has been the pastor of the Temple of Christ for more than 5 years. She has traveled across the country with her sisters the legendary Williams Sisters of Philadelphia, PA.

While working in the capacity of lead singer she was called into ministry of preaching in April of 1995. She has evangelized in various places telling dying men and women about the love and saving power of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, she is a devoted woman who puts her heart and soul in all that she does. Especially every message she preaches and song she sings. Sometimes preaching with a fire of lamentation. She thrives on her most intimate Scripture, Matthew 6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

She was called to pastor following the sudden passing of her father in December 2016. Yet, with much reluctancy she petitioned God for His Devine direction asking for a “Gideon Fleece Experience”. Nevertheless, she humbly accepted the call in March of 2017. In addition, she completed her degree in Communications from Colorado Christian University in November 2017.

She Continues in this 21st century to sing, preach, and pastor with an urgency telling individuals that “Jesus is coming soon”.  While the world feels dark, dangerous, and full of fear, the message of hope is this, “you don’t have to live in the dark because Jesus is STILL the LIGHT of the world.
